Program Aides
The Girl Scout program aide (PA) is one of the leadership opportunities for Girl Scouts 7th grade and older. This program is designed to enable girls to develop leadership skills by sharing their specialized knowledge with younger girls in a variety of settings. After completing the Core Training. Girls then volunteer 25 hours of service in a leadership capasity.
Eligibility - Any girl who is a registered Girl Scout and is currently in the 7th grade or older. Girls should be able to benefit from and contribute to the training, and need to be able to function in a leadership role and direct girls ages 6-11 in activities.

Weekend Camp Events

Practice your leadership skills in planning and carrying out Council sponsored program for Daisys, Brownies and Juniors at camp.

Spend a weekend at Camp Rio Blanco or Camp Boothe Oaks.

All food and housing provided.

Day Camp

Practice your leadership skills by working with younger girls in units, lead songs and games, and help teach camp and life skills.

Resident Camp
Camp Aide
For girls entering 8th and 9th grades.

Spend your days working with younger girls in units, leading songs and games, helping with cookouts, as well as meeting other girls and planning some of your own activities.

Prerequisites: Prior experience as a resident camp camper and as a PA.

Cost of this week is $150.
